Canadian Convincement

November 27, 2009

I like to write here about movement, and the way we use it. For entertainment, for communication, but most especially for understanding and learning. After living in the US for 9 months I was forced to accept certain MAJOR differences in culture. For me, this lecture segment illustrates some of them very well. The particular gentleness of language and gesture, the reasoning tone, and plenty of “about”s. I really like the idea of having conversational constitutional lectures. And centering on the “having a bubble bath” image is a rhetorically strong strategy.
PS What he’s talking about is how new legislation on natural products (herbs, even from your own garden) might affect our basic freedoms in Canada.
